Ms. D'Anna Seward

Please welcome Ms. D’Anna Seward to the BHS family!

She is a new assistant campus director at Bob Hope Middle School in Port Arthur.

Ms. Seward grew up in Groves and has lived in Mid County all her life. She graduated from Port Neches Groves High School and attended Lamar University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education as well as her master’s degree in Educational Leadership with a Principal Certification. She has 31 years of experience in education, teaching at PAISD for 11 years and PNGISD for 20 years.

Ms. Seward says that what she likes most about working for BHS so far is the people she has met. She says that everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Some of her goals for her new position are to build strong relationships with the staff, get to know the needs of the campus, and to help others to learn and grow.

She wants families to know that BHS genuinely cares deeply about our students, staff, and parents. BHS wants the best for our children and community and strives to provide a quality education with many opportunities to thrive and succeed.

Outside of her job, Ms. Seward says that she is most proud of her loving husband and 4 amazing grown sons. She loves to read, hang out by the pool, and go to the lake with her family.

A quote she likes is “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” -Nelson Mandella.
