Socioeconomic Information Form 2020-2021


Important information for student's returning.

  1. Arrival begins at 7:30.  
  2. Students are tardy at 8:01AM.  Sixth grade students are tardy at 8:16 AM. 
  3. Dismissal is at 4:00PM and ends at 4:30.  Please pick your child up on time.  Students not picked up by 4:30PM will be held in the gym 6 feet apart.  For sixth grade students, dismissal is from 4:15 to 4:45 PM
  4. While walking up the school is strongly discouraged, it is allowed.  Please make sure you accompany your child if you are going to do this for arrival.  If you are walking up for dismissal to retrieve your child, please understand that the cars in the line have priority, and walkers will receive their children last.  You must have the placard with you in order to retrieve your child.
  5. Please make sure you have your Car Rider Pro tag and placard displayed and your child is wearing his or her lanyard and name tag.
  6. Because of COVID-19, we will not be allowing parents to walk their children to class as we have in the past during the 1st week of school.  We appreciate your understanding.
  7. Please understand that all children will have their temperature taken with an infrared thermometer while they are still in the car.  Children may not get out of the car without their temperature taken first.  If their temperature is 100  or higher, you will need to take your child home.  
  8. If your child is in 3rd to 6th grade, please make sure they bring their Chromebooks with their chargers.  Please ensure that their Chromebooks are charged before they arrive.
  9. Please understand that due to COVID-19, children will not be allowed to use communal water fountains.  If you would like your child to be able to drink water, please send them with a water bottle.
  10. Please ensure that your child arrives with their mask on.  We ask that you also please wear a mask.

Dear Bob Hope Elementary Parents,
We are looking forward to an amazing 2020-2021 school year. Please know that our first day of school is Tuesday- September 8, 2020. We have placed your child’s schedule in the mail. It has information on who your child’s teachers are and how you can meet them through FlipGrid. PK-2nd grade parents, please know that these packets contain three weeks’ worth of work that your child will need to work on during the remote period. Teachers will communicate with your children daily. 3rd-5th grade parents, your child will attend via Microsoft Teams. Furthermore, teachers will be reaching out to you on Friday, August 21, 2020 starting at 9:00AM via phone to introduce themselves. If they cannot reach you, they will leave a voicemail.
 
PK-2nd Grade Parents:
We are excited to tell you that you may login for optional live sessions with your child’s teacher according to the below schedule for the 3 weeks of remote learning! Please know this is optional, and if you do not login, your child’s teacher will still be reaching out to you to engage with your child.
8:20 – 8:35 – Circle time/Morning Message/Oral Language Development
11:00 – 11:20 – Quiet Time and a Book
3:30-4:00 – Social emotional learning with the teacher
